Thanks for checking out what's happening this month at Relate! We are so excited you are here. We believe no matter where you've been, where you are or what you are facing, Jesus can RELATE. He cares. So do we! See you Sunday at 9 or 10:45 a.m.

  • STudent night

STUDENTS, we have a place for YOU! Grab your friends and come hang out with Relate Students, starting at 6:30 p.m. for STUDENT NIGHT! We meet the 2nd-4th Wednesdays of each month. The 2nd Wednesday of the month includes worship, a special message, games and PIZZA. Grab a friend and join us at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday.

We believe that everyone needs a starting point when attending a new church. Starting Point will guide you through a process to discover your purpose and live the life God has designed for you to live. Our process is comprised of four steps that equip you to follow Jesus, connect with other believers through the local church, discover your God-given gifts, and use those gifts to make a difference in someone else's life. Make Starting Point your next step this Sunday! We have a place just for YOU! Starting Point takes place every Sunday during the 10:45 a.m. service in Relate offices.

Teaching Kids to Talk to God

Prayer is a conversation with God. It is not about saying the right words; it’s about speaking from your heart then listening to what God has to say. “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” - Colossians 4:2 (NIV)

Pray Thankfully – At the end of his life, King David praised God in the presence of the people. Kids will learn that when they talk to God they should praise him for who he is and thank him for all he has done. 1 Chronicles 29:10-20, David’s Prayer

Pray Boldly – Even after Peter and John were put into jail and their lives were threat- ened due to sharing about Jesus, they prayed boldly that God would use them to spread his good news to the world. Acts 4:23-31, The Room is Shaken

Pray Honestly – When Hannah prayed for a son, she didn’t hold back her pain and fear. Kids will learn that when they talk to God they should be honest and hold nothing back. 1 Samuel 1:1-20, Hannah Prays For a Son

Pray Willingly – In the hour of his deepest need, Jesus prayed that the will of the Fa- ther would be done. Kids will learn that when they talk to God they should seek his will. Matthew 26:36-46, Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane
